Today I realized I should pass out the packets first to the 3rd graders when discussing what is expected to be done in the packets so they know what I'm talking about. I need to try waiting to get the kids to listen more rather than talk over them not listening. Tomorrow I will have to get the clay balls ready for the 1st grade lesson.
