Mary Lynn had a sub in for half the day because she had an appointment so I was able to run four of the classes in a row. It was my first time doing that. I'm not getting to run all the classes like most people would be doing at the end of their placement because of how things ended up working out getting switched two weeks in, so we just made due with what we could so this was a good experience. It was nice to be the one to have an inside point of view on what the kids were doing. The sub really didn't know so I just ran the classes and he helped out. The K lesson was a little disorganized because I started with them writing a free for all, any words they wanted, and after realizing that wasn't restricted enough changed it half way through. By the third time I lead the lesson I had it figured out so it's a matter of how to piece the first two classes together given it wasn't all figured out, and is sort of half and half. The 3rd grade class didn't all get through the magnets so I hope to get them caught up. We got all the dust bunnies made in the first grade class.
